UOP Student Featured on Jordan TV for Youth Day

Rina Saadeddin, a Radio and Television major at University of Petra (UOP) and a member of the Promising Leaders Empowerment Office at the Deanship of Student Affairs, was featured on Jordan TV's “A New Day" program as part of International Youth Day celebrations, held annually on August 12 under the theme “Strengthening Youth's Role in Development and Community Building."

During the interview, Saadeddin shared her journey in the media field, which began at the age of 14, developing her passion for radio and television through participating in various forums and events, and producing programs and media content addressing social issues. She highlighted key milestones in her experience, including her participation in the “Nashama" Youth Leaders Program, which gave her the opportunity to work alongside outstanding young Jordanians.

She stressed the importance of youth-led initiatives in driving positive change and the need to support and empower young talents to express their ideas and creativity, noting UOP's commitment to fostering youth energy and initiatives. She concluded by emphasizing the role of media as a key tool for raising awareness and promoting values.
