The Jordanian Higher Education Accreditation Commission has decided to renew the University of Petra's Quality Assurance Certificate for an additional four years. Abdel-Rahem also noted, "The success in renewing the Quality Assurance Certificate for another four years also reflects the university's commitment to continuous improvement in academic programs and services, which enhances the quality of education and learning, and strengthens the confidence of students and parents in the university as a reliable educational institution that provides high-level education, fully aligned with the university's vision of being the preferred choice for scholars and learners."

He further added, "Obtaining the Quality Assurance Certificate boosts the university's opportunities for collaboration with international educational institutions and companies, increases the chances of securing external funding and support, and enhances the employability of its graduates in the job market."

The Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, Dr. Ahmad Al-Qasem, stated, "The University's continued receipt of the Quality Assurance Certificate reflects its ability to achieve its strategic goals and sustainable development, which helps to reinforce its academic standing both in Jordan and abroad." He added, "University of Petra was the first Jordanian university to receive this certificate among both public and private universities, giving it a competitive edge and proving its ability to maintain its leading position in higher education."
