UOP Celebrates International Day of Mathematics

On behalf of the President of the University of Petra, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Prof. Mahmoud Al-Salman, sponsored an event entitled "Mathematics in the Eyes of Petra", held by the Mathematics Department on the occasion of the International Day of Mathematics. The event was attended by a number of deans, heads of departments, and faculty members. Also attending were guests of the math section of the International Leaders Academy.
The event activities included success stories of department alumni and an activity entitled "The Beauty of Math", in addition to a variety of other activities.
