UOP FIT Team won the second place in the competition organized on the sideline of Technology Convergence Conference (TCC) 2016, which was convened on Monday May 30, 2016 under the auspices of Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya Bint El Hassan at Four Seasons Hotel in the presence of a number of academic institutions, companies and investors.
The competition revolved around the applications of Cloud Computing and Internet of Things. FIT team consisted of Eng. Mahmood Al Afghani (Supervisor), Abdul Rahman Almkahaleh, Mahmoud Abdul-Hadi, Mohammed Alsmaneh, Ezzeldine Ediess and Nadine Ayyad. "Smart Irrigation System"is a system that saves water consumption by full control of farms irrigation remotely and generating reports related to all farms.
