UOP President Prof. Rami Abdel-Rahem and UOP Chancellor Prof. Adnan Badran examined a range of higher education issues with a select number of presidents of local and Arab universities. The meeting was held on the margins of the Conference on Higher Education in the Arab World at the headquarters of the American University of Beirut (AUB).
AUB Acting President Prof. Zaher Al-Dawi received the delegation. The participants discussed issues relating to education quality, scientific research, sourcing of financing for research projects, and future prospects. Furthermore, the presidents of the universities were informed about AUB experience in higher education.
