The Alumni Follow-up Committee at the Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Petra organized a field visit to the workplace of faculty alumni in order to enhance communication and follow up on their career success.
The committee met the faculty alumni, Abdullah Al-Fares, Ghassan Al-Sabateen, and Adnan Haddad, whose graduation project was on developing a device to help people with stuttering. The university awarded the alumni a grant to establish their own company in the UOP Business Incubator on campus under the name "Takallam". They participated in local and international competitions through the Faculty of Information Technology under the supervision of Dr. Abdel-Karim Al-Banna.
The alumni pointed out that the courses they studied and the competitions they participated in contributed to the completion and development of the project, in addition to refining the idea behind it.
The members of the Alumni Follow-up Committee at the Faculty of Information Technology are Dr. Salam Al-Ammari, Ms. Zarifa Al-Khuffash, Ms. Angham Wahdan, and the committee's rapporteur, Dr. Iman Al-Thuwaib.
