The UOP Department of Information Security organized a training CTF workshop on information. The workshop consisted of lectures and applications.
UOP-FIT Dean Prof. Wael Hadi said that CTF is a global initiative in cybersecurity approved by local and global firms in employee selection.
As part of the workshop, UOP-DoIS organized CTF competition for FIT-UOP students. Information Security Department Chair Dr. Mohammad Alothman added that 13 teams from UOP-FIT participated in the competition that intends to hone students' skills in cybersecurity and expand their knowledge and skills in information systems protection.
NULL team won the first place and consisted of the students Sabri Abu Nuzha, Rakan Qarnawi, Basil Al-Wawi, and Noor Baraka. Gratis team won the second place and consisted of the students Rateb Al Mahasneh, Yazan Bushnaq, Faisal Al-Tamimi, and Mohammad Al Khadra. PETRAWI team won the third place and consisted of the students Hala Oliyan, Ahmad Sultan, and Saleh Qronfulah.
