The Advisory Board of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Petra had a meeting with members from the industrial sector, the Jordan Engineers Association, and representative alumni.
The meeting included an overview on recent developments particularly with relevance to the American accreditation recently awarded to the Department, a discussion of the updated study plan and its potential impact on the learning outcomes and skills of the department graduates.
The meeting also discussed the program's intended learning outcomes and mechanism for assessing graduation projects and the need to focus on areas that would provide graduates with the skills required in in the labor market. The meeting was concluded with recommendations and suggestions made by the Advisory Board members with a view to enriching the teaching and learning processes in the Civil Engineering Department.
