Graphic Design Students at University of Petra Visit Family and Juvenile Protection Department

A delegation of Graphic Design students from the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the University of Petra visited the Family and Juvenile Protection Department. The delegation was welcomed by the Director of the Department, Brigadier General Saed Al-Qatawneh.

During the visit, students' work on family protection, combating violence, child labor, and other important societal issues were reviewed. Al-Qatawneh listened to the students' discussion of their ideas and creations. He expressed his thanks and appreciation for this visit and the initiative that reflects the awareness of youth and their opposition to all forms of violence.

The students presented a collection of their work to the Family and Juvenile Protection Department, which was carried out by students enrolled in the printing course under the supervision of Ms. Sana'a Al-Asaad, and the course assistants, Mr. Muhammad Khalaf and Ms. Sajida Zainal.

The Department explained their work mechanism, services provided, the nature of the Department's work and the role it plays in enhancing the protection from violence system, as well as mechanisms for providing services to those in need. They have the latest technologies, advanced methods and high-level qualified staff. They also preserve the highest standards of privacy, confidentiality, humanity and neutrality, which represent the core values and the work basis of the department. At the end of the meeting, the department presented commemorative medals and the department's shield to the students.

This visit falls within the framework of cooperation between the Graphic Design Department and the Cultural Association for Aftercare, which pays great attention to societal issues and serves the Jordanian society.
