Prof. Marwan Muwalla, University of Petra (UOP) President, received and met with a delegation from Sheffield University in the presence of a number of UOP deans of faculties and directors of units.
The delegation consisted of the Director of Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures at Sheffield University Prof. Anthony Ryan, Mr. Mark Snklear and Dr. Awad ElSheikh from United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Prof. Muwalla made a brief presentation on UOP accomplishments, certificates and majors, particularly conferring quality assurance certificate upon the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences (FPMS) and ABET's accreditation of two programs at the Faculty of Information Technology (FIT).
Prof. Muwalla explored opportunities for concluding academic cooperation agreements with the delegation and handed UOP honorary shield to the delegation.
The delegation visited the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Architecture & Design at UOP.
