On the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, the UOP Vice-President sponsored a Ramadan Breakfast (Iftar) for 100 dormitory residents on behalf of UOP President Prof. Marwan El-Muwalla. The ceremony was organized at the UOP Staff Club. The ceremony witnessed the participation of Petra Education Company (PEDC) General Manager Eng. Mohammed Mazen Al Ansari, a group of faculties’ deans, directors of academic units and directors of administrative units.
The Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Ghazi Abu-Zeitoon said "UOP organizes Iftar Ceremony on a yearly basis for dormitory residents with the aim of engaging migrant female students in Ramadan events and listening to their demands".
