UOP hosts a lecture by American Professor about "International Law"

John Quigley, Professor of Law at Ohio State University, delivered a lecture on applying UN membership conditions to the Palestinian case at the University of Petra. During the lecture facilitated by Prof. Mohamed Olwan the Dean of Law Faculty, Prof. Quigley discussed UN membership conditions and applying these conditions to the Palestinian case.
Prof. Quigley also addressed the role of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in settling international disputes and the nature of cases brought before it. He also referred to the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the possibility of pursuing war criminals before it.
