Prof. Nidal Qinna received UOP Distinguished Researcher Award for the University Year 2018-2019 for his outstanding research papers in the last five years.
UOP President Prof. Marwan Muwalla presented the Distinguished Researcher Award to Prof. Qinna in the Graduation Ceremony of 25th batch upon evaluating his published papers in Pharmacology, Toxicology and Pharmaceutical sciences.
Prof. Qinna obtained 141 points for 25 published papers in international refereed journals and chapters contributed in specialized books.
It is noteworthy that Prof. Qinna holds PhD degree in Pharmacology from King's College London in the United Kingdom and his papers focus on proving effectiveness and toxic impacts of medicines and their transformations in liver and pancreas.
Prof. Qinna is a Professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical and Medical Sciences (FPMS) of the University of Petra (UOP). Moreover, Prof. Qinna serves as the Director of UOP Pharmaceutical Studies Center and consultant for several informal, research and industrial institutions.
