"Student exchange benefits students scientifically and enriches their cultural knowledge through recognizing the culture of the country of study. Similarly, the students sent abroad reflect their culture and followed customs in their countries," he added.
"The program was launched in 2012 with a view to teach Arabic Language for Non-native Speakers and introducing Jordan’s history and Arab culture to the students. The program duration is one month. It includes: providing Arabic Language Lessons from elementary level to advanced level and conducting visits to a list of archaeological and holy sites, which contributed in forming Jordanian culture and making Arab and Islamic Identity for the region," Dr. Ola Al-Dabbagh, Director of Language Center pointed out.
Dr. Abdulkafi Albirini, UU Liaison Officer, thanked UOP President and Language Director for their efforts to ensure the program success. He pointed out that the program achieved many of its goals, not only in teaching Arabic reading, writing and speaking skills, but also in presenting a clear image on Islamic and Arab culture through Jordan culture as a model for the cultures of many Arab and Islamic Middle Eastern countries.
