Research and Teaching Assistant (during PhD program) at University of Bayreuth, Germany, Department of Physical Chemistry I, Bayreuth 95440. Mr. Abdel-Rahem was assigned to teach Practical Physical Chemistry, supervise undergraduate projects and doing research on industrial projects for Cognis Company (the company was later joined to Henke Company, Germany, Düsseldorf). The projects included: controlling the dissolution rate of surfactants hard table, controlling Krafft temperature of surfactant and performing physiochemical investigations on new modified hydroxyl mixed ether polymeric surfactants.
