Welcome to the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences (FAFS) website. Since the University's establishment, the Faculty has had a strong belief in the importance of its programs and majors to local and regional community development.
Like the rest of the University's faculties, the embeddedness of the principles of quality is the differentiating foundation of the University. UOP is the first University to obtain the Quality Assurance Certificate and recognition from the Jordanian Higher Education Accreditation Commission and obtained the British International Accreditation Certificate (ASIC). In addition, the Faculty obtained the initial membership and eligibility approval from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, whereas the Marketing Department obtained the Canadian IIMP accreditation. These achievements reflect the constant support of the management team, sound planning, hard work, documentation of data, and the continuous review of the curriculums and the infrastructure.
The Faculty has gone through successive developments thanks to the efforts of the faculty Deans, who succeeded in managing and adopting the principle of continuous improvement and development of the educational learning process to comply with international standards and labor market requirements and focus on creativity and entrepreneurship, as the first business incubator was established in the Faculty.
In line with technological development, the Faculty uses the e-learning system based on the latest technological advancements to prepare educational materials, auxiliary slides, question banks, and exams on the e-learning system. The Faculty also adopts computerized exams to achieve the principle of transparency and integrity. Furthermore, the Faculty has continuously sought to improve its educational outputs to align with the labor market requirements by establishing effective partnerships with institutions of the public and private sectors and making genuine partnerships with universities and international research centers to develop faculty members to reflect positively on educational outcomes.
The faculties of the University and FAFS strive to continue to obtain the highest levels of national and international rankings. Our ambition is to become one of the leading Faculty in learning, teaching, scientific research, serving the local community, and be in the ranks of the most prestigious international facilities. This ambition will not be achieved without the combined efforts of the distinguished competencies of colleagues, teaching and administrative staff members, and the support of the rational administration of the University and the relevant employers, students, and their families.
