Overview
Marketing is a specialized scientific major that aims to help students acquire necessary skills and knowledge to effectively deal with daily challenges in modern business environment and keep pace with developments in marketing.  The department of marketing provides a 132 credit hour integrated study plan that consists of university, faculty and department requirements and matches with study plans used at the most prestigious Arab and foreign universities and conforms to the public and private accreditation standards set by Higher Education Accreditation Commission (HEAC). Under the study plan, the department helps students to acquire knowledge and skills required at labor market, especially English language communication skills, computer skills and scientific research skills. The students subject to field training in various business companies. Feedback obtained by students during field training helps us in reviewing and upgrading our academic programs. Marketing graduates can work in public and private companies that organize traditional and electronic marketing activities. The department achieved distinctive results in university competency test, where it achieved first rank in this test for three consecutive sessions compared to public and private universities. Department's students were among top students in the kingdom in this major.
