The University of Petra Pharmaceutical Center (UPPC) is part of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences (FPMS). UPPC staff has a broad expertise in planning, execution and interpretation of research outcomes. FPMS-UOP was established in 1991 and the number of its teaching staff expanded to 40 in the past 20 years. In addition, the published research papers that have been performed by UOP teaching staff has increased. In order to properly utilize the staff expertise in benefiting the pharmaceutical industry and other concerned institutions, UPPC was established in 2012 to conduct research and provide training.
