      الجابري،نهيل, " اتجاهات طلبة واساتذة الجامعة نحو التعليم الالكتروني " , "مجلة الطفولة والتربية",Vol.العدد السادس,No.3, جامعة الاسكندرية, , 01/01/2011 :الملخص
      الملخص هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة اتجاهات طلبة الجامعة وأساتذتها نحو التعليم الكتروني كنتيجة لتوظيف الحاسوب واستخدامه في عملية التعليم. وذلك لان الجامعات حاليا تسعى إلى توظيف التعليم الالكتروني واعتماد التكنولوجيا التعليمية في التعليم الجامعي وتحويل الكثير من المساقات إلى مساقات الكترونية. وذلك بهدف استخدام التقنية بجميع أنواعها في إيصال المعلومة للمتعلم بأقصر وقت وأقل جهد وأكبر فائدة ،ولتحقيق ذلك تم اختيار عينة عشوائية من طلبة جامعة البترا الخاصة في مدينة عمان ، من الطلبة الذين درسوا بعض مساقاتهم باستخدام برنامج Bb(black board) من جميع التخصصات والكليات في الجامعة بعد حصر المساقات التي تم تدريسها بالتعليم الالكتروني كما تم اختيار مجموعة لم يدرسوا أي مساق من خلال الحاسوب من اجل المقارنة . ولقياس الاتجاه نحو التعليم الالكتروني تم إعداد مقياسين: الأول لقياس اتجاهات الطلبة نحو التعليم الالكتروني، والثاني لقياس اتجاهات أساتذة الجامعات نحو التعليم الالكتروني. وقد خلصت النتائج إلى أن اتجاهات الطلبة نحو التعليم الالكتروني ايجابية بصورة عالية. كما أن اتجاهات الأساتذة نحو التعليم الالكتروني كان ايجابيا أيضا. ولا فرق في اتجاهات الطلبة يعزى للكلية أو التخصص. ووجد انه لا فرق في اتجاهات الطلبة يعزى للجنس، كما لا فرق في اتجاهات الطلبة يعزى للخبرة في التعليم الالكتروني. ولا فرق بين اتجاهات الأساتذة يعزى للكلية أو التخصص. ووجد هناك فرق بين اتجاهات الأساتذة يعزى للخبرة في التعليم الالكتروني لصالح أصحاب الخبرة ويمكن عزو ذلك إلى أن المعلمين الذين لدهم خبرة أكثر إدراكا لأهمية وفوائد توظيف الحاسوب في العملية التعليمية. كما أن هناك فرق في اتجاهات الطلبة في الجوانب الستة لمقياس الاتجاه نحو التعليم الالكتروني .       Abstract The technological developments characteristic to today’s digital era have contributed to significant advances in the area of e-learning, 'E-learning' can be defined as a method of learning that is supported by the use of information technology ('IT').It’s important to design an educational environment which increase student’s motivation regardless of whether it is traditional or technological environment, motivation influences the manner in which students learn. The more motivated a students are, the better their results will be, assessment and measurement of learners motivation is currently one of the main research areas in e-learning This study aimed at investigating the level of using the applications and computers software, and the correlation between this use and the student motivation towards e-learning. A sample consisting of (500) students from Petra private university was randomly chosen during the first semester of the academic year of2011/2012, the result of the study indicated that the student use all the applications in the same way and there is more use for the programs of social networking and e-mail and mobile, also there is a strong correlation between the level of use and the student motivation towards e-learning. Gender, collages and studying level are all not significant Factors for motivation. Download

      ABSTRACT Roles of the teacher in grade teacher preparation programs and child-rearing in Jordan and the compatibility with the roles of technological information age teacher Prepared by Dr. Nahil Muhammad Aljaberi The aim of this study was to determine the efficiencies and technological roles of the teacher who is able to employ technology in the education and continuous development with the requirements of the era of information and communication technology. It also aims to identify the image of the teacher and his roles as reflected in the decisions of the teacher preparation programs (child-rearing) and the classroom teacher from the viewpoints of professors. And to determine the image of the teacher and his roles as reflected in the preparation of programs kindergarten teachers (child-rearing) and the classroom teacher from the points view of students . And to know the perceptions of students majoring in the classroom teacher and child-rearing for their future roles as teachers. The researcher based on theoretical research, and published research, and different literature in the collection of relevant data to extract facts and conclusions, and the researcher following the descriptive analytical method which relies on the method of quantification to determine the roles of teacher preparation programs grade teacher and child-rearing through the questionnaire included ( 78), paragraph, and to find out the roles of the teacher through the student's views were employed questionnaire included (63) paragraph. The same approach was also used in determining the students' perceptions of their future roles as teachers through a questionnaire that included (42) paragraph. The application of these standards to all students in specialty grade teacher, and child-rearing in Petra Private University. The study concluded that more undergraduate courses for specialized classroom teacher and child-rearing has failed to reverse the efficiencies of the teacher and technological efficiencies of the preparation and design of teaching from the perspective of teachers, also the results showed a lack of decisions contrary to the roles of teacher. The point of view of the students were reverse ratios standards and low teacher competencies in all aspects, the study also showed blurry students thinking about their future roles as teachers, and the roles of guidance and counseling and skills related to ethical and professional technology employing the most mysterious of these roles. The study recommended the need to reconsider the courses mentioned specializations and focus on the technology include the roles of the teacher in these courses.

Aljaberi* E, " The Relationship between the University Students’ Level of Metacognitive Thinking and their Ability to Solve Mathematical and Scientific Problems " , "Research on Humanities and Social Sciences",Vol.4,No.15, Research on Humanities and Social Sciences, amman, 08/30/2014 :الملخص
      Abstract The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the university students’ metacognition thinking and their ability to solve mathematical and scientific problems. 172 university students were involved in this study. The researchers employed two types of instruments: metacognition awareness inventory, and a mathematical & scientific problem solving test; which was constructed by the researchers. After the collection of data, the researchers ran a suitable statistical analysis. The study has concluded that Petra University students have a medium level of metacognitive thinking, and that the variables of sex, faculty, high school stream, and the current year in the university had no effect on their level of metacognitive thinking. The study has also shown that these students suffer from a lack of ability in solving mathematical and scientific problems; no significance correlation between the level of metacognitive thinking in the overall scale and the ability to solve mathematical and scientific problems. However, there was a significant correlation between a few factors of metacognitive thinking and the ability to solve mathematical problems, and these are: Procedural Knowledge, Evaluation, Fault Picking, and Managing Knowledge; as well as a significant correlation between Fault Picking and the ability to solve both mathematical and scientific problems.       Eman Gheith, Nahil , " The Relationship between University of Petra Pre-service Classroom Teachers’ Attitudes toward Graphs and Their Ability to Read and Interpret Them " , "Journal of Education and Practice ",Vol.5,No.26, iiste.org, amman, 09/03/2014 :الملخص
      Abstract The aim of this study is twofold: (a) to investigate the relationship between University of Petra pre-service classroom teachers’ attitudes toward graphs and their ability to read and interpret them, (b) the impact of the following factors on their attitudes toward graphs and their ability to read and interpret them: (1) high school stream (scientific, literary, information technology, others); (2) academic level at university (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior) and; (3) the number of science and mathematics courses they had taken at the University. Data were collected using two questionnaires: the attitude toward graphs which was developed by Mumba et al. (2009), and the ability to read and interpret them, which was developed by the researchers. The study sample consisted of 122 female students who were enrolled in the classroom teacher major at the University of Petra in Jordan. The results showed that: (1) pre-service teachers’ attitudes toward graphs on the overall scale were moderate; and the pre-service teachers valued graphs, expressed moderate interest in graphs, and moderate cognitive competence for graphing, although they did not make enough effort concerning graphs (2) the attitudes of classroom teachers toward graphs became more positive as they advanced in their level of academic year (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior) as well as by the increase in the number of science and mathematics courses they have attended at the University; (3) level of pre-service classroom teachers’ ability to read graphs was below the educationally accepted level. In addition, the ability to read graphs seems to increase as students advance further in their academic level; (4) the presence of statistically significant correlation between students' attitudes toward graphs and their ability to read and interpret them.

      The aim of this study was to survey the reality of smoking in the PU by answering a series of questions related to inventory the proportion of smokers, male and female and from different grade level & from the various faculties of the university, The study also aimed to know the students' attitudes toward smoking ,the attitudes including: awareness of the dangers of smoking and negative effects, and the realization after the friends, and the desire to quit smoking, and the extent of knowledge of students on matters relating to smoking and addiction and the effect of smoking on economic terms. The study include the following results : Half of the students of the University are smokers, and have a male (66%) of male smokers in the proportion of (24%) female smokers and it was the age group (20-22 years) is a category that included the largest number of smokers, and found that most of the students smoked (19 cigarettes or more) a day, and there are approximately half of the students smoked other types as well as a cigarette, also found that friends are the primary source for the first cigarette dealt with the student, as the study concluded that (66%) of the Students wishing to quit smoking and watching films and publications relating to anti-smoking, the study concluded most of the students have sufficient awareness of the harmful effects of smoking and its dangers, (40%) only realize the effect of friends for smoking, was found to be (75%) know the role of family, school and university and the media in the fight against smoking, the study concluded that (67%) of the students have awareness of the relationship of smoking addiction and its impact on the economy on a personal level or family or the state

      ABSTRACT The Impact of Learning Computer Programming Language (Visual Basic) On Enhancing The Ability In Math Modeling and Problem Solving Of University Students In Jordan. Prepared by Nahil Muhammad Aljaberi Supervised by Professor fareed K. Abu-Zeineh The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of learning computer programming language (Visual Basic) on enhancing the ability in math modeling and problem solving of university students in Jordan. The objective of this study is to answer the following question: 1- Is there an impact for learning computer language on enhancing the math modeling capabilities of the university students ? Two question are raised from such question: a. Is there an impact for learning computer language on enhancing the math modeling capabilities of the university students in the faculties of humanities ? b. Is there an impact for learning computer language on enhancing the math modeling capabilities of the university students in the faculties of science? 2- Is there an impact for learning computer language on enhancing the problem solving skills of the university students ? Two question are raised from such question: a- Is there an impact for learning computer language on enhancing the problem solving skills of the university students in the faculties of humanities ? b- Is there an impact for learning computer language on enhancing the problem solving skills of the university students in the faculties of science? The study sample consisted of (84) students in the colleges of Humanities and Science at the university of Petra. The students were taught computer skills, which is basically a visual basic course, and considered as a compulsory university requirement for all majors. The difference in teaching methods between colleges of humanites and science was only in the language used as means of instruction; whereas Arabic was used as means of instruction in the colleges of humanities, and English was used in the colleges of science. In ordar achieve the aims of the study, the researcher prepared two scales; one for math modeling and the other for problem solving. Scales validity was verified by a number of arbitrators. Reliability Coefficient was calculated for both scales, where the reliability coefficient for problem solving scale was (0.84) and for math modeling scale (0.9). The two scales were applied to students at the beginning of the second semester(academic year 2004-2005),and were applied again at the same semester. The researcher used T-test for dependent samples at significance level (α = 0.5) and the statistical results revealed the following : 1- There are differences between students’averages in pre-test and post-test on math modeling in favor of post-test. 2- There are differences between students’ averages in the colleges of humanities in pre-test and post-test on math modeling in favor of post-test. 3- There are differences between students’ averages in the colleges of Science in pre-test and post-test on math modeling in favor of post-test. 4- There are differences between students’ averages in pre-test and post-test on problem solving in favor of post-test. 5- There are differences between students’ averages in the colleges of humanities in pre-test and post-test on problem solving in favor of post-test. 6- There are differences between students’ averages in the colleges of Science in pre-test and post-test on problem solving in favor of post-test. All differences confirmed that there is an impact for learning computer programming language (Visual Basic) on students’ capacity building in math modeling and problem solving. In light of these results, the researcher recommended the need to pay attention to problem solving and math modeling, and to choose the effective programs that would develop such capacity building; like computer programming. The researcher asserted the need for a minimum computer programming knowledge to be given to students in the basic cycle of education such a LOGO language and then gradually introduc other modern languages such as Visual Basic.       الملخص اتجاهات طلبة الصف الأول الثانوي نحو مادة الحاسوب في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة نهيل محمد رجب الجابري المشرف : د. غازي عودة هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة اثر كل من الخبرة الحاسوبية والمعرفة الحاسوبية في تغيير اتجاهات طلاب وطالبات الصف الأول الثانوي نحو مادة الحاسوب. وحاولت الدراسة بشكل محدد الإجابة عن الأسئلة التالية: 1- ما أثر المعرفة الحاسوبية في تغيير الاتجاهات لدى طلاب وطالبات الصف الأول الثانوي نحو مادة الحاسوب؟ 2- ما أثر الخبرة الحاسوبية في تغيير الاتجاهات لدى طلاب وطالبات الصف الأول الثانوي نحو مادة الحاسوب؟ 3- هل هناك فرق بين أثر المعرفة الحاسوبية على اتجاهات كل من الطلاب والطالبات نحو مادة الحاسوب؟ 4- هل هناك فرق بين أثر الخبرة الحاسوبية على اتجاهات كل من الطلاب والطالبات نحو مادة الحاسوب؟ 5- هل هناك اثر لوجود أجهزة حاسوب في المنزل على اتجاهات الطلاب والطالبات نحو مادة الحاسوب؟ تكونت عينة الدراسة من (275) طالبا وطالبة. منهم (185) طالبة و(90) طالبا من طلبة الصف الأول الثانوي في إمارة دبي، ويشكلون(18%) من أفراد المجتمع الأصلي. وقد تم اختيارهم عشوائيا من (7) مدارس منها(4) مدارس للإناث وثلاث كدارس للذكور. استخدم مقياس الاتجاه نحو الحاسوب الذي تم تطويره خصيصا لهذه الدراسة. ويتألف هذا المقياس من (57) فقرة مصنعة في أربع مجالات تتعلق بجانب تقبل المادة والاستمتاع بها، وجانب الأهمية أو القيمة لمادة الحاسوب، وجانب طبيعة المادة وخصائصها، وجانب الثقة بالنفس. وذلك بعد تصديقه ثم إيجاد ثباته بطريقة كرنبا خالفا. هذا وتم تطبيق المقياس على أفراد عينة الدراسة في مطلع العام الدراسي. وبعد الانتهاء من الجانب النظري الذي استغرق (4) شهور. وطبق مرة أخرى بعد الانتهاء من لجانب العملي الذي استغرق (5) شهور أيضا. ولاختيار فرضيات الدراسة تم استخدام الإحصائي تحليل التغاير ثلاث مرات عند مستوى (ألفا= 0.05) وكانت المرة الأولى لمعرفة اثر المعرفة الحاسوبية على الاتجاه والمرة الثانية لمعرفة اثر المعرفة الحاسوبية والخبرة الحاسوبية على الاتجاه، والمرة الثالثة لمعرفة اثر الخبرة الحاسوبية المنفردة على الاتجاه مع الأخذ بعين الاعتبار متغيري الجنس وجود الحاسوب في المنزل. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية: 1- هناك اثر ذو دلالة إحصائية يعزى للمعرفة النظرية في تغيير اتجاهات الطلبة نحو مادة الحاسوب. فقد أثرت المعرفة سلبيا على اتجاهات الطلاب. 2- لا تختلف اتجاهات الطالبات الإناث عن اتجاهات الطلاب الذكور نحو مادة الحاسوب نتيجة للمعرفة الحاسوبية. 3- الطلاب الذين لا يوجد لديهم حاسوب في المنزل كانت اتجاهاتهم أفضل من الطلبة الذين لديهم حاسوب في المنزل نتيجة للمعرفة الحاسوبية. 4- هناك اثر ذو دلالة إحصائية يعزى للخبرة الحاسوبية في تغيير اتجاهات الطلبة نحو مادة الحاسوب. وقد كان تأثيرها ايجابيا. 5- كانت اتجاهات الطالبات أفضل من اتجاهات الطلاب الذكور نحو مادة الحاسوب نتيجة للخبرة الحاسوبية. 6- كانت اتجاهات الطلاب الذين لديهم أجهزة حاسوب في المنزل أفضل من الطلبة الذين لا يوجد لديهم حاسوب نتيجة للخبرة الحاسوبية. 7- هناك اثر دال إحصائيا يعزى للمعرفة والخبرة الحاسوبيتين معا في تغيير اتجاهات الطلاب نحو مادة الحاسوب ايجابيا. 8- اتجاهات الطالبات الإناث كانت أفضل من اتجاهات الطلاب الذكور نحو مادة الحاسوب نتيجة للمعرفة والخبرة الحاسوبيتين معا. 9- وجود الحاسوب في المنزل أو عدم وجوده لم يؤثر على اتجاهات الطلاب نحو مادة الحاسوب نتيجة للمعرفة والخبرة الحاسوبيتين معا Download
