The University of Petra welcomes the contribution made to student life by clubs and other activities. With well-organized clubs in the Deanship of Student Affairs in addition to other activities, there is something for everybody. However, if students think there is a gap to be filled, there are official procedures to set up new clubs. The Clubs aim to achieve the following goals:
Encouraging the spirit of volunteering, public service and teamwork in the students.
Encouraging students to develop their talents and hobbies.
Providing the opportunity for students to participate in the activities that match their interests and capabilities.
Developing an interest in aesthetic aspects.
Developing students’ interest in the cultural heritage in Jordan, the Arabic and Islamic cultures, in addition to taking care of local and global cultures.
