Exams and Grading: - Passing grade for graduate courses is C+
- Passing grade for pre-Master's courses is D
- The minimum cumulative GPA to pass the Master's program is (3.0)
- A Student can repeat at most two courses for the purpose of raising his/her GPA. Only the higher grade among the repeated courses is used in the calculation of GPA.
- Grade Assignment for regular Graduate courses:
- Semester Work: worth (60%) of final course grade, and consists of the following:
- At least one exam (30%)
- Second exam, research, reports, etc. (30%)
- Final exam: worth (40%) of final course grade
Grade Assignment for other types of courses:
These courses include seminars, research oriented courses, Laboratory courses, practical training courses, etc. Grades for these courses depend on the type of work and activities involved. A lump sum grade is assigned at the end.

Registration for Thesis:
Students are permitted to register for Thesis if they meet the following conditions:
- Pass (18) Credit Hours
- Accumulative GPA not less than 3.0
- Student is assigned a graduate supervisor
- Master's Proposal is approved
