In the presence of Prof. Mahmoud Al-Salman, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, A Master's thesis prepared by the student Abeer Khalil Ahmad Ali was defended at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Arabic Language and its Literature at the University of Petra. The thesis is titled "Grammatical Composition Among the Advanced Scholars: Between Thought and Education - The Fourth Hijri Century as a Model."
The examination committee consisted of Dr. Haroun Al-Rababah as the supervisor and chairman, Dr. Amani Suleiman, and Dr. Samih Maqdadi (internal examiners) from the University of Petra, and Prof. Dr. Hussein Bataineh from Al-Balqa Applied University as an external examiner.
The thesis comprised an introduction and three chapters. The introduction provided a brief overview of the origin of grammar and the most famous grammatical schools before the fourth Hijri century. The first chapter discussed grammatical composition in the fourth Hijri century, the second chapter focused on grammatical thought in that century, and the final chapter was dedicated to discussing grammatical education with selected practical examples from the writings of the fourth Hijri century.
