The Faculty of Architecture and Design of the University of Petra (FAD-UOP) organized a workshop for the 8th grade girl students of Al Hoffaz Academy entitled "Printing on Clothes by Means of Silk Screens to Act Responsibly Towards the Local Community."
The workshop addressed techniques for printing on clothes using silk screens by preparing silk screens, fixing silk screens on frames, selecting colors, and printing on cloth bags that were presented by UOP to Al Hoffaz Academy students.
Eng. Shaza Qatit and Ceramic Laboratory Supervisor Ms. Sajida Zenel supervised organizing the workshop with assistance from the students of the "Community Service" course in FAD. At the conclusion of the workshop, Al Hoffaz Academy students toured the permanent FAD exhibition to learn about the projects executed by FAD students. Al Hoffaz Academy students admired FAD students' works and projects.
