The University of Petra (UOP) ranked first in volunteering work at the level of Jordanian Universities for 2022 in a ceremony organized on International Volunteers Day. UOP President Prof. Rami Abdul Raheem received a shield from HE Minister of Youth Mr. Mohammad Salameh Al-Nabulsi in recognition of UOP's efforts in spreading the culture of volunteerism and providing volunteering opportunities to young people through the "Nahno" program.
The ceremony was co-organized by the platform for the National Youth Engagement and Volunteering Program (Nahno), Crown Prince Foundation (CPF), UNICEF, and the Ministry of Youth at the main hall of Prince Al-Hasan Sports City in Irbid.
In turn, Prof. Abdul Al-Raheem paid tribute to the ceremony organizing committee and congratulated UOP teaching and administrative staff, wishing them further successes and achievements.
