Prof. Nuha Alkhalili, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology (FIT), has opened an awareness-raising workshop on Crown Prince Award for Best Government Application at Marwan Al Dahleh Meeting Room in UOP campus.
The Award aims to stimulate students to develop smartphone applications for provision of user-friendly government services 24/7 in cooperation with the government institutions.
The award covers health, education, transportation, water, business environment and tourism and all students enrolled in the public and/or private universities in Jordan can participate.
A group of members of teaching staff and students have attended the workshop. Prof. Alkhalili emphasized the award’s role in improving the relationship between students and government institutions.
