Prof. Rami Abdel-Rahem, President of University of Petra (UOP), and Prof. Maha Pad Kamel Abdallah, President of the University of Halabja in Kurdistan Region (UOH-KRI) have signed an academic and cultural exchange agreement in the presence of a UOH delegation https://uoh.edu.iq/en/.
Prof. Abdel-Rahem presented a brief explanation on UOP majors, achievements, and accreditation certificates. The signing ceremony was attended by UOP President Assistant for Agreements and International Cooperation Prof. Omar Atari as well as Prof. Sultan Abu-Orabi.
The UOH delegation made a field visit to UOP facilities to learn about UOP majors and equipped facilities.
The Agreement covers the co-implementation of educational and research projects and the co-organization of academic activities, such as courses; conferences; workshops; seminars; lectures; exchanging researchers, teaching staff and students; and exchanging publications and other materials of mutual interest, such as scientific research and periodicals.
