Promoting Dr. Haroun Al-Rababah to "Associate Professor"

The Board of Deans of the University of Petra (CoD-UOP) decided in its session convened on Monday, 30 January 2023, to promote Dr. Haroun Mohammad Bader Elddin Ahmad Al-Rababah, member of teaching staff in the Arabic Literature Department, to the rank of associate professor.

Prof. Haroun Al-Rababah obtained a PhD Degree with an excellent grade from the University of Jordan in 2006 and his dissertation was entitled "The Impact of Syntactic and Rhetorical Connotations in Deducing Jurisprudence" under the supervision of the late Scholar Prof. Naser Elddin Al-Asaad. Prof. Haroun Al-Rababah obtained a Master's Degree with a very good grade from the University of Jordan and his thesis was entitled “Approach of Ibn Hisham Al-Ansari in Explaining Shuzoor Al-Dahab" under the supervision of Prof. Mahmoud Al-Jaffal. Moreover, Prof. Haroun Al-Rababah was top of the class with an excellent grade in the first batch who graduated from Al-Bayt University in 1999 in his Bachelor's Degree (66 students) and his thesis was entitled (The Syntactic Features of Arab Writing "Explanation of Shuzoor Al-Dahab as a Model" under the supervision of the late Prof. Emad Elddin Hatem.

Prof. Haroun Al-Rababah worked in UOP from 2004 and, in 2008, published a book entitled ("Language and Shariah"). He published various papers in reviewed journals: "The Impact of Mathematical Probabilities in Arabic Syntax", "Sheikh Saeed Elhami: Life, Poetry, and Books – Study of Uthmanic Codex", "Intertextuality of  Alliteration – A Study of a New Topic in Arabic Rhetoric", "Maqamat Al-Zamakshri: Vision and Origin", "Intertextuality of Artistic Image" on the Impact of  Al-Burda Poem by Al-Busiri on the Poem of Abi Abdullah Al-Saghir one of the last Muslim Kings in Andalusia, etc...
