The Equality & Sustainability Office (E&S Office) at UOP hosted Dr. Hadeel Al-Maaytah, Director of the Center for Women's Studies in the Community from the Hashemite University, as part of a series of workshops that the Center intends to launch to develop students' skills and enhance their cognitive capacity. The workshop targeted students expected to graduate and applicants for the university proficiency exam for the academic year 2021-2022 and dealt with topics related to communication skills and their importance for students who are intending to join the labor market. The dialogue was moderated by Dr. Duha Alsmadi, the Director of the E&S Office at the university.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Al-Maaytah is a local, regional and international consultant and trainer, and a university professor in management studies who had obtained her master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Exeter in the UK. Her projects, practical, and research achievements revolve around leadership, communication, diversity management, gender-sensitive social entrepreneurship, development of related curricula for youth and women, as well as public relations management in crises, including response strategies and media coverage.
