Professor Ahmad Saleh

Professor Ahmad Salem, PhD

President (2005-2006)

Professor Saleh holds a PhD from Purdu University, USA (1971), MSC. in physics from American University of Beirut (1963), and BSC. in Physics from American University of Beirut (1958). He has 24 research papers to his credit. He has edited three volumes of the proceedings of Petra School of physics. He has been a member of the American Physics Society SINCE 1973.

Professor Saleh was President of the University of Petra (2005-2006), President of Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan (1998-2002), Chief Editor of Abhath Al-Yarmouk Jordanian Journals (1998-1992), Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Yarmouk University (1991-1998), Director of Physics Centre, Yarmouk university (1989-2015), Dean of Research and Higher Studies, Yarmouk University (1979-1983), Head of the department of Physics, Yarmouk University (1978-1980), and Assistant professor, King Saud University (Riyadh) (1971-1977).
