today's world, working in the field of broadcasting Radio and Television has
become a sought-after target for those pursuing science and knowledge. It is a
freelance type of work that comprises though and creativity and solutions for
different issues through dialogue, discussion and openness to other views. It
relies mainly on culture and extensive exposure. In other words: there is no
media without culture, and there is no knowledge without effective media.
The
world is currently experiencing a real revolution in the field of public
information and media. The University of Petra (UOP) has taken upon itself the
responsibility of preparing specialists in the field of Radio and Television work.
To help its graduates acquire the skills required to work in labor market
efficiently; The University of Petra strived to recruit qualified teaching
staff with distinguished academic and practical experience; it adopted academic
curricula designed to stay abreast with accelerating development; and provides state
of the art teaching facilities (Television and Radio Studios and News Rooms)
supplied with the most advanced media technologies and equipment similar to the
equipment that are used in the most prestigious international universities.

our students complete the requirements of the Radio and Television program,

largest local, regional and international radio and television stations. They
