The Computer Information major is designed so that a students are capable upon graduation to play a major role in the workforce of Information Systems. It also aims at providing students with the essentials needed in systems planning and development, and systems analysis and design.
Courses are carefully selected in this program to cover a range of areas including computer science, information systems and information science, business administration, and management. These courses are coupled with a set of carefully selected elective courses, field and practical training courses, and a senior project.

The CIS Program's mission is to provide students with up-to-date educational programs, and to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to become leaders and innovators in the field of Computer Information Systems, and to produce graduates who will be successful professionals, engaged in lifelong learning, and who committed to the servitude of their communities.
The education objectives of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems are:
