Why Study Arabic at UOP?
The
University of Petra has acquired an excellent academic reputation over the years and is ranked as one of the top private academic institutions in the country. It currently offers Undergraduate degrees in more than 20 different majors and has 6 MA programs. The members of staff are all qualified, experienced instructors who have MAs and PhDs from Jordanian, Arab and Western Universities. The University is accredited locally, regionally and internationally.
The University currently has more than 7000 students, of these there are international students from 30 countries. This diversity has resulted in creating cultural harmony between the students and the members of staff.
The University is located in the western part of Amman, in Al-Bnayat Area, which is 7km from the 7th Circle in Amman. The campus is compact with all the facilities within walking distance.
