The Continuing Education and Community Service Center (CECSC) was established by the decision of the Board of Trustees, in its session No. 9-2010 dated 23/9/2010 with a view to translating the UOP policy into practice. CECSC's establishment aimed at serving UOP students, UOP workers, individuals, public institutions and private companies through holding training courses in light of the local labor market needs.
Vision:
CECSC serves as a vital link between UOP and individuals as well as institutions of the local community. CECSC is responsible for enhancing communication and relationships between UOP and individuals and institutions of the local community. CECSC also takes the responsibility of training needs identification in order to improve the talents and skills of the professionals through holding specialized annual training courses according to MHESR requirements.
CECSC strives to be a distinguished center at Middle East through following the latest methods and technologies in training. By doing so, CECSC improves the talents and skills of Jordanian and Arab human resources through linking academic matters with applied aspects.
Mission:
Improvement of human resources by improving their skills and talents to meet the labor market needs.
Objectives:
Improving the skills of local community trainees and UOP trainees according to the latest training methods.
Employing the qualified human resources and UOP’s material resources to serve the Jordanian and Arab community.
To supervise assurance and control of training courses’ quality.
Generating revenues that cover the center’s expenditures and supply UOP budget with revenues for education quality improvement.
