About UOP Club....

Established on December 1997, UOP club provides various services to its administrative and academic members.

The UOP Club is managed by a body of 7 members who are elected during the annual meeting of the UOP general assembly. The UOP Club body members provide voluntary services to the members, including:

Sending cards of congratulations to the members on the occasions of holidays;
Organizing cultural events on the latest developments in sciences, literature, art, medicine and politics; Organizing events at UOP Cultural Saloon, which was established in 2015/2016;
Attracting offers for selling electronic appliances, furniture and home furnishings at reduced prices and interest-free installments under the guarantee of the UOP Club;
Organizing social, recreational and cultural events for members and their families, including but not limited to:

Internal trips: To all tourist areas in the kingdom. UOP Club annually organizes trips to Aqaba, Wadi Rum, Petra, Dead Sea, Gilead, Ajloun, and Jerash.
External trips: UOP Club organizes trips to the neighbouring countries, especially: Egypt and Turkey.
Internal visits: UOP Club organizes visits to cinemas and theaters.
Trips to holy sites: UOP Club organizes Umrah annually.

Sending invitations to banquets of lunch and dinner and breakfast (Iftar) in the holy month of Ramadan to the club members and their families;
Organizing open days that consist of recreational and sports events to members;
Attracting reduced costs offers to subscribe in sports clubs, beauty centers and gyms;
Issuing semi-quarterly "Petra Voice” journal, which lists latest news on publications and literary contributions of members as well as UOP achievements;
Communicating with members in all occasions;
Organizing events for the children of UOP Club members;
Organizing sports events and competitions in cooperation with UOP Staff Sports Committee;
Organizing two charitable campings (in winter and Ramdan) to support care institutions of orphans, charities societies and poor families annually funded by UOP management and workers’ donations;
Those events are consistent with UOP strategy to serve the local society;
All above-mentioned services and other services are the fruit of voluntary efforts exerted by the members of UOP administrative body to serve their colleagues and local society.

It is worth mentioning that UOP Club has a well-furnished and equipped office to receive the members any time for getting rest, eating dinner, reading newspapers and watching television. UOP has recruited a supervisor to follow-up the needs of the club and members and distribute circulars of the club.

The UOP Club subscription is 3 dinars monthly plus one-time 12 dinars when the subscription card is first issued.
