The project that was launched in January 2019 and funded by the EU is an ERASMUS+ KA2 Action on Capacity Building in the field of higher education. The main objective of FREE Project is to establish capacity building in higher education institutions in three countries in the Mediterranean region: Lebanon, Syria and Jordan, through empowerment of female academics in higher education.
The project also aims to:
Empowering female academics and professionals through series of training workshops.
Improving management and operation of HE through introduction of equality and sustainability centers and services.
Development of research and innovation through network of research in Gender Issues.
UOP has joined the FREE Project with several key partners from 6 different countries, working together during 3 years with one purpose: to establish capacity building in higher education institutions in three countries in the Mediterranean region through the empowerment of female academics in higher education.
