Findings of Analytical Study of Fresh Graduates’ Satisfaction with their Major for the Second Semester 2016/2017

The following are the results of the analytical study which has been carried out by the Career Counseling and the Follow-up of Graduates Office/Deanship of Student Affairs on Fresh Graduates' Satisfaction with their majors for the Second Semester of the University Year 2016/2017. The study sample has consisted of 150 graduates of the second semester' graduates (i.e. 150 graduates out of 645 graduates). The findings of the study were as follows:
  1. 29.27 % of the fresh graduates have been strongly satisfied with their majors;
  2. 58.27 % of the fresh graduates have been satisfied with their majors;
  3. 14.90 % the fresh graduates have been neutral;
  4. 5.17 % of the fresh graduates have been dissatisfied with their majors; and
  5. 2 % of the fresh graduates have been strongly dissatisfied with their majors.
These findings show that 77.93 % of the fresh graduates have been satisfied with UOP majors (the first and second groups). On the other hand, 7.17 % of the fresh graduates have been dissatisfied with UOP majors (third and fourth groups) and 14.90 % of the fresh graduates have been neutral.
Attached are the questionnaire form, which contains the number of respondents in terms of faculties, gender, major and fresh graduates' answers to each paragraph of the questionnaire.
