The club of English Language at the University of Petra (UOP) organized a cultural and artistic day for English students at UOP Theatre. UOP Vice-president and Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Prof. Mohammed Al-Anani patronized the day.
Some students performed a play inspired from “The Fool” novel by Anton Chekhov and "Doctor Faustus" play by Christopher Marlowe.
The students recited poems in Arabic and English, including “In Jerusalem” poem by the poet Tamim Albarghouti and “The Road Not Taken” poem by the poet Robert Frost. The students concluded the day with a singing show and presenting some works prepared by English students.
Dr. Heba Amro from English Department supervised the day.
