Proceeding from UOP Policy of students' involvement in the local community activities, the Students’ Association organized on Saturday 8/4/2017 an Orphans Event, marking the Arab Orphan Day under the auspices of Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA).A large group of students of the Faculty of Information Technology (FIT) participated in the event, which included receiving a large group of orphans from Al Baqaa Club and Jericho Charitable Society, telematch games for children with cartoon characters in conjunction with cartoon characters, serving meals and distributing sweets.
Baraa’ Al Frouk, UOP Students’ Association President, welcomed orphans, society supervisors and club supervisors and emphasized that UOP administrative staff and students are fully prepared to receive and host children at UOP.
