The Faculty of Law at University of Petra Qualifies for the Arab Competition for the Arab Mock Trial

A team of the Faculty of Law at the University of Petra (UOP) has qualified to participate in the competition for the Arab mock trial, which will be held in April this year at Sultan Qaboos University in the Sultanate of Oman.
The UOP team, accompanied by the Yarmouk University team, qualified in a competition that brought together four teams from Jordanian universities, namely Yarmouk University (YU), University of Jordan (UJ), World Islamic Sciences and Education University (WISE), and University of Petra (UOP).
The participating teams fought three rounds to determine the two teams that will represent the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the Arab competition.
In the arbitration competition at the national level, twelve professors participated from the University of Jordan (UJ), Yarmouk University (YU), Amman Arab University (AAU), Applied Science University (ASU), Middle East University (MEU), University of Petra (UOP) and World Islamic Sciences and Education University (WISE).
The training of the Faculty of Law team at UOP was supervised by Dr. Omar Aamar and Dr. Kamal Al-Awamleh. The arbitration was supervised by Dr. Hala Al-Shuaibi, from the Faculty of Law at Birzeit University as a representative of the administrative and executive staff of the Arab competition represented by the Kuwait International Law School.
