Law Faculty Participates in Arabic Moot Court Competition 2018

The UOP Faculty of Law participated in Arabic Moot Court Competition 2018, which was held in the Kuwait International Law School, Kuwait during the period 4-6 April 2018. Prof. Mohammed Olwan has actively contributed in judging and presiding the panel of judges of the competition.
13 universities took part in the competition from several Arab countries, namely: Sharjah University, Cadi Ayyad University, Yarmouk University, Baghdad University, Birzeit University, Tunis El Manar University, Qatar University, Lebanese University, Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd University, Kingdom University-Bahrain, University of Petra (UOP), Sultan Qaboos University and Kuwait International Law School.
A team of four law students represented UOP, namely: Jood Ajarmeh, Luma Zoubi, Sara Emad Qasim and Eman Alhamaideh. They performed well in the preparation of oral pleadings and litigating and reached quarter finals.
Dr. Ali Dabbas, Dr. Ma'en Juwaihan and Dr. Kamal Awamleh prepared UOP Team.
UOP Law Faculty looks forward to hosting one of the Arabic Moot Court Competition sessions and preparing students to participate in local as well as international competitions.
