FIT Students Win First and Third Place in Second Hakeem Academy Competition

Hakeem Academy, the academic arm of Electronic Health Solutions Company (EHS), has concluded 2nd in the Hakeem Academy Competition for Jordanian Universities. Funded by Oasis 200 company and Jordan Ahli Bank, this competition aims to support leading projects in the area of health IT solutions. 30 projects have participated in the competition, 11 projects of which have qualified to the final stage. 2 projects out of 11 have been developed by the students of Faculty of Information Technology (FIT).
It is worth highlighting that Hakeem Academy began its works in May 2015 and FIT takes part in Hakeem Academy Competitions annually. FIT team won the first and third places this year. The competition lasts for one year. FIT Team made a 20-minute presentation on its project in the final stage dated 3/8/2017 before committee of judges. Supervised by Mr. Abdul Kareem Albana,  FIT students Sanad Barjawi, Fareed Issa, Maha Mahyob, Aseel Asha and Abdulrahman Makahleh have won the first and third places for Portable Neck Treatment Device Project and I Care Project.
