The Pharmaceutical Studies Center of the University of Petra (UOPPC) participated in a brainstorming workshop on intellectual property rights, registration of patents locally and internationally and ways of converting patents to products at IP Commercialization Office (IPCO) in iPARK (formerly Business Park For Project Development) at Royal Scientific Society.
UOPPC participates in these workshops to learn how do business incubators work, their objectives and the principles of financing leading projects.
After the workshop, the students toured iPARK and met with several researchers and entrepreneurs in healthcare and information technology to know how to employ IT in providing healthcare services.
UOP has joined Technology Transfer Network, which is ran by IPCO at iPARK with in order to registering the patents of FPMS researchers.
