The Dean of Faculty of Information Technology (FIT) Professor Ghassan Issa and teaching staff met a delegation from Queen's University Belfast (QUB). During the meeting, Prof. Issa made a statement and presented an overview on UOP as well as FIT.
QUB's delegation made a presentation on QUB in general and QUB's Faculty of Information Technology in particular, discussed project of automating study schedules and showed details QUB leading projects. QUB adopts the idea of submitting projects by teaching staff that is related to algorithms of scheduling and converted the same to a leading investment project.
At the conclusion, PhD candidate Abdul Basset talk about Robocode competition project that is applied in coordination with UOP programming students and tackled challenges that encounter students in their early stages of learning programming and solutions furnished by the project, most important of which is achieving fun and challenge in education by using stimulation software.
