The University of Petra (UOP) and the Royal Marine Conservation Society of Jordan (JREDS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing cooperation in research, educational and environmental fields.
Prof. Tayseer Abu Arja, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, and Mr. Ehab Eid, JREDS Executive Director, signed the MoU on behalf of UOP and JREDS.
The MoU provided for establishing long-term partnership between JREDS and the Faculty of Mass Communication of the University of Petra (UOP) to spread environmental journalism in the Kingdom, exchange experiences, organize joint activities under the project of investigative journalism and environmental media, particularly environmental issues in Aqaba city.
