A friendly five-a-side football match between the University of Petra (UOP) and Jordan Radio and Television Corporation (JRTVC) was organized at UOP Sports Hall under the patronage of UOP President Prof. Marwan Muwalla and JRTVC Director General Mr. Firas Nseir. Prof. Muwalla and Mr. Nasir kick-started the match, which ended 4-4 draw.
The Sports Committee Chairperson, Dr. Eyad Mallah emphasized that UOP requested organizing the match in order to communicate with institutions and entities.
The Comedian Hussein Tebeshat (nicknamed Alam Ghafel) presented an entertaining show. Director of JRTVC’s sports channel Muhammad Doadeiah, JRTVC Human Resources Department Manager Muhammad Balqar, JRTVC’s Engineering Department Eng. Emad Alshabbar, deans of faculties, directors of units, footballers and journalists attended the match.
It is noteworthy that Prof. Marwan Muwalla is a fan of sports activities and UOP organizes a considerable number of sports activities.
