Information Technology Student's Activity Fair The ITSAF 2010 will be held under the auspices of HE Marwan Juma, Minister of Information and Communications Technology on 7th of July 2010 at Petra University Campus. After the successful ITSAF for the last five years and, in its efforts to bridge the gap between the industry and the academia, Petra University (PU) is pleased to announce the Information Technology Students Activity Fair (ITSAF) 2010, to be held on July ,2010 , at the university’s campus.The objectives of ITSAF are based on HM King Abdullah the Second's vision to enable Jordan to be one of the leading countries in IT development. This will take place by means of preparing young personnel who are equipped with modern and up-to-date technology.The Fair aims to offer a valuable opportunity to IT students, at all levels, to exhibit the projects which they had performed during the previous academic year, and the skills they gained, before IT professionals and experts , particularly the representatives of local and international companies, and accordingly ,connect those participating academic institutions , including the academic staff and students , to IT industry, in one hand , and create the spirit of competition among students and universities on the other. IT students of the invited universities will participate in the main event. Each university should submit three graduation projects which are considered as the top ones performed by its students. These projects will be examined and evaluated by professional Committee comprises employers and academic staff. Members of the Evaluation Committee are selected from local and international IT institutions and companies.
