Business Administration
The overall aim of this department is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills needed in the field of business administration. Through several theoretical and practical courses, our graduates should be capable of filling managerial positions in both private and public sectors.
Finance & Banking
The main objective of the department is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills of the volatile environment of banking and financial sciences. To achieve this, the curriculum provides several theoretical courses, combined with the necessary computer skills needed to understand the practice of financial institutions. Therefore our graduates should be able to manage their profession in business particularly in banks, investment and insurance companies, or they can pursue higher education. The department is keen to keep a countinuous relationship with its graduates. As a result, the department learns more about the changing needs of business community and revises its curriculum
Accounting
The Department of Accounting aims to provide a high quality education for students, spreading accounting knowledge through research and teaching, and serving the surrounding community.
Management Information Systems
Management Information Systems department aims at preparing qualified professionals in the field of MIS and IT resources management for both private and public sectors. The MIS specialists will act as change agents promoting the computerization of managerial activities at all levels of business administration. This will facilitate the development of Information Systems that meet the needs of organizations. The graduates are expected to bridge the gap between IT and managerial specialists. They will effectively participate in determining business requirements of the organization and develop IT applications aiming at meeting these requirements.
Marketing
The main aim of the department is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills needed in the field of Marketing. Students majoring in marketing will find education in our department which is relevant to real – life situations in all business activities. In fact, they go through a field training program in local business organizations, the feedback provided by this program provides the marketing department with valuable information for updating and revising academic programs.
E-Business & Commerce
Electronic business is a rapidly expanding area that will impact on organizations’ performance and all future managers. This new degree has been developed to provide students with a thorough knowledge of the many facets and applications of e-business and commerce, focusing particularly upon changes occurring in, for example, the marketing and supply chain functions. So, graduates who will complete this program are expected to be highly requested for work in all businesses and government.
