Pharmacology and Biomedical Sciences
| Overview | The department of pharmacology and biomedical sciences seeks to integrate both basic and applied pharmaceutical and medical sciences into its academic programmes in order to provide students with the information necessary to be competent and successful in the increasingly challenging field of pharmacy.
Departmental courses cover a broad range of disciplines, including anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, immunology, microbiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical care practice.
The department's members have research interests in various pharmacy fields such as pharmacology, immunopharmacology, microbiology and pharmacy practice. |
