UOP Library was established at the same of establishing the University of Petra (UOP) in 1991. Currently, UOP Library is a 3-floor building and contains more than 16700 volumes. UOP Library is one of the leading libraries at the level of Jordanian universities. Since its establishment, UOP Library provides necessary books, periodicals, journals, information sources and electronic information resources with the aim of supporting UOP scientific activities and serving students, researchers and scholars.
Thus, UOP Library seeks to keep pace with latest development in the area of information technology and information services in order for it to develop its research services and services of searching for references and books and retrieve information easily and effectively using databases and e-archive.
