UOP Library offers its services to UOP students and alumni, teaching staff, administrative staff, researchers and scholars from outside the university. These services include:
Books' Borrowing Services
Borrowing books to UOP students, teaching staff and administrative staff.
Borrowing books to researchers and scholars from outside the university against payment of an annual subscription fee.
Service of reserving books on-shelf.
Evening service of books' borrowing.
Search and Guidance Services
The librarians in the halls of Arabic books, foreign books and periodicals guide and answer the questions of the library visitors on UOP Library regulations, how to use these references textbooks, and where they can find periodicals or books on a specific topic. Moreover, they are fully prepared to train students on how to use e-indexes.
Databases and Electronic Library
UOP Library provides access to databases of books, periodicals and theses via internal UOP network. UOP Library has computer labs that were established to help UOP Library visitors access to these databases. Moreover, a number of computers were placed in library's floors. UOP visitors are trained on how to access to these databases and benefit from them.
Printing and Xeroxing Services
UOP Library provides Xeroxing service of library materials that cannot be borrowed, such as references and periodicals in a manner that does not conflict with intellectual property rights. Moreover, UOP Library provides printing services to UOP teaching staff, administrative staff and students in computer labs against payment of a symbolic price. UOP Library visitors can print downloaded studies as well as papers for free.
Reading Halls
UOP Library contains a number of halls that provide suitable environment for students to read books and study freely and comfortably.
Ask a Librarian Service
UOP Library provides "Ask a Librarian" Service; Researchers can request a book chapter, an article or a book and the Librarian will respond to them via email. Link of Ask a librarian link service.
